I'm not really sure what to do here and would really appreciate any advice. The main reason why I think it's an issue with the controller though is because the controller interface, although plugged in correctly from what I understand, is not even turning on even though the fans are powered and the RGB (sometimes) turns on.
Worth noting that my computer's device manager also didn't recognize the Lian Li fans as well. I tried to update the firmware of SL UNI HU controller but my device wasn't recognizable there either. I considered the possibility that there was a software incompatibility because both the L-Connect 2 and L-Connect 3 programs didn't recognize my fans.
